Now that spring has sprung and summer is on its way it feels appropriate a new record from The Dip will be accompanying longer days and warmer weather. The six-piece outfit’s smooth throwback R&B and soul grooves are perfect for a summertime soundtrack.
You can get a taste of their upcoming album below by checking out the title track to the record, which is due 12 on Dualtone Records. The band has an extensive tour planned to support the record, titled “Love Direction” and the next time The Dip will be in their hometown they will be headlining the Showbox for two consecutive nights on Nov. 16 and 17.
