The first day of this year’s Bumbershoot was headlined by iconic locals Sleater-Kinney and Sunny Day Real Estate. But they weren’t the only acts that took the stage during Day 1.
Locals Sweet Water, Reignwolf, Thunderpussy and Girl Trouble all delivered sweltering sets in the sweltering heat. In the non-local department, crowd favorites Matt and Kim, loud and heavy French trio Slift and the surprising vocal range of Puddles Pity Party (who is also semi-local) delightged the sun-drenched masses.
