PHOTOS: Bumbershoot 2023 Day 2

Bumbershoot’s second day was filled loaded with local talent, just like the day before it.

Hometown rising rock stars King Youngblood and hip-hop veteran Sol played the Mural stage outdoors. While the promising and very talented ladies of THEM and Sub Pop favorites Spirit Award kept things dry indoors at the Vera stage. But the day wasn’t solely populated by Seattle musicians. Punk icons Descendents, Russian rabble rousers Pussy Riot and bayou jazzmasters Rebirth Brass Band were also a part of the festivities.

Here’s a look at the second day of the 50th Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival.

About Steven Friederich

Steven has been taking concert photos since 1999 and has since earned his stripes in countless photo pits. He’s been spit at by Trent Reznor, growled at by Rob Zombie, his hair was almost caught on fire by Rammstein’s flame-throwing guitar and he was assaulted by an AC-DC security guard because his photo pass was visible. Despite all this, he still manages to enjoy shooting arena rock concerts.
