You won’t believe how many ‘Dark Matter’ vinyl variants Pearl Jam is releasing

It looks like friendship bracelets and die-hard fandom isn’t the only thing Eddie Vedder took away from his experience at a Taylor Swift concert last year because Pearl Jam is upping its vinyl game.

The band, which has always been a strong proponent of vinyl, is celebrating the release of its latest album “Dark Matter” with not one, not two, not 10, but 12 regional vinyl variants of the record. Swift, of course, famously has released multiple versions of her last few albums which has created a frenzy amongst collectors who have to own all things Tay Tay.

“Dark Matter” will be the band’s twelfth studio record and appropriately enough there will be 12 different regional variants (see below). Those variants are in addition to the standard black and clear versions, making for a total of 14 different versions of the album.

“Dark Matter” is scheduled for release on April 19. You can find where to get the various vinyl variants at this link.
