I don’t know if you’ve heard, but I’m throwing a party. I’ve invited some of my dearest musical friends, and you, dear reader, are also invited.
Among those dearest friends who will be in attendance include my old pals SHIM, my new pals Smoker Dad and the latest addition to the lineup, my longtime pals Smokey Brights.
That’s right, fresh off headlining their own night at the Tractor earlier this month, the Smokeys are returning to the fabled Ballard venue to celebrate 25 years of Guerrilla Candy.
Tickets for the big shindig, which is happening Aug. 22 at the Tractor Tavern, are currently on sale and tickets are moving fast. That’s to be expected though considering the show will be the first time SHIM graces a stage in more than 10 years. Not to mention the soon-to-be buzzziness of the upcoming album from Smoker Dad (I’ve heard it and you’re going to love it!). Adding Smokey Brights to the bill is icing on my rock ‘n’ roll anniversary cake.
So act now and get your tickets for the big show before they’re all gone!
