The Linda Lindas release new song ‘Resolution/Revolution’

The Linda Lindas have been on the radars of tastemakers ever since their breakthrough performance of “Racist, Sexist Boy,” and rightfully so because they are a fiery, fierce and fun blast of youthful rock ‘n’ roll.

The band plays music that’s filled with the type of energy that makes you want to jump around and start dancing and today they released a new song “Resolution/Revolution.” According to the band, the song was inspired by Judas Priest and Pantera riffs and is a “composition about making small dents in big problems to make a difference in the long run.”

The new single follows April’s release of “Too Many Things,” and like everything else The Linda Lindas have released, that song is a punchy power-pop-punk blast of fun. Hopefully the two new tracks are an indication that a new album is coming soon because last year’s “Growing Up” was one of my favorite records of 2022. If the new songs are a taste of what the new record will sound like then it definitely won’t disappoint.

Fingers crossed “Resolution/Revolution” makes the set list during their upcoming show in Seattle when The Linda Lindas open for Paramore at Climate Pledge Arena Aug. 9.
