Death Cab For Cutie & Postal Service exhibit coming to KEXP’s Gathering Space

Death Cab For Cutie and The Postal Service are celebrating the 20th anniversaries of their respective albums “Transatlanticism” and “Give Up” this year. To mark the occasion, the bands are currently on a co-headlining tour where they play each album in its entirety.

Local independent radio powerhouse KEXP will also be celebrating the anniversary with “Everything Looks Closer From Far Away: The Exhibit.” According to a press release announcing the exhibit, it will include “murals, artifacts, large-scale installations, an in-depth timeline of both records and more.”

The exhibit, which is free to visit, will be housed at KEXP’s Gathering Space at the Seattle Center campus. It opens Friday, Sept. 29 and will run through Oct. 29.

The DCFC/Postal Service tour comes to Seattle for two sold-out shows at Climate Pledge Arena on Oct. 6 and 7.
